SPOKE TO A GUY DRIVING THIS AT THE NATIONALS LAST YR.. NICE TRUCK - SHAME ITS NOW OWNED BY AN ANALLY RETENTIVE TWAT..(apologies if he's a friend, but the guy was a prat)
i think i've seen this at a either stratford or santa pod.. i thought it was a real 30's ford... congrats you've done a great job. wish i had half your talent...
Chopper built the cab, truck bed, chassis, suspension setup on front and rear, mounted axle/engine/trans,plumbed brakes, steering setup and column..
STU finished some minor welding on the cab, linished back the welds, wired it,fitted glass and got engine running..
Chopper then pinched the rear chassis rails for 9" narrowed axle setup and did all the necessary bits.. Followed by Z'ing the chassis FOR STU.
Stu then paid someone else to rebuild the chevy and fit a blower..which is fine, but not all of us can afford to get an engine built, and personally i like to do it myself, as atleast that way you can guarantee the right stuff goes into it..
Although stu does have his talents, this truck as far as i'm concerned is not his to take full credit for, chopper is responsible for 95% of the build..stu bought it as a going concern and I must say, He's made a very nice job of finishing it off
